VILMA LUZ GARCIA GONZALEZ is an active instructor and consultant on Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 22000 Food Safety Management having been certified on HACCP and SCP by The Association of Food and Drug Officials, FDA (certificate No.0065-112800-99456 and 9009-022900-13514) and re certified in the year 2012, certificate No. RQ2011-103111-35695. She is also a coveted consultant-trainer in Latin America on Total Quality Management, Working groups & Quality Circles, ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, among others.
Vilma has enhanced the Quality Movement in   Latin    America   thru    her    continuous
participation as speaker & chairperson in the Latin-American Quality Congresses since 1978. She completed postgraduate courses on Quality Control and Good Manufacturing Practices on the Pharmaceutical Industry held by the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) and on Quality Assurance from another highly recognized institution, the German Academy of Technology (May 1992). Also, she has completed courses on Quality Management System Lead Auditor ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certified by RAB-QSA. She is a certified examiner for the RAB QSA TPECS program for AU, TL, QM, EM & FSMS
She has participated on the implementation of Total Quality Systems and ISO 9001 in different types of companies: Food, drinks, textiles and needle, pharmaceuticals, jewelry, paper, biological products, service and transportation, among others.
She earned her bachelor's degree on pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of San Carlos in Guatemala and currently she is Deputy Director of IMECCA, A.C.
