For more than 20 years Mrs. Scher has been actively involved in uncompensated activities promoting quality and excellence in Israel and internationally. She has received recognition and many awards for achievements in the quality movement and is actively involved as a leader in professional quality organizations. Mrs. Scher has served the Israel National Quality Organization (ISQ) in various capacities at executive levels, including the Chair for the last 3 years. Over the years Mrs. Scher has conducted research and published numerous articles on various subjects in newspapers, journals and conference proceedings and internal RAFAEL publications. She has risen from a position of a group Leader to her present position as Corporate Director of Quality at RAFAEL.

This award is presented to a Woman Quality Professional who has distinguished herself as a person with known integrity and is recognized for her outstanding contributions to the promotion of quality innovation and practice in the Asia Pacific Region.
